  
Seaton Delaval Hall, one of the North East's greatest houses, has had an interesting history since it was built by famous architect, Sir John Vanbrugh, in 1719. It has survived major fires and two world wars, but now it needs your help to shape its future!
The risk
The Hall will be sold privately if the National Trust cannot step in and save it for the nation. There is a very real risk that this 1000 year old estate will be broken up and the potential for greater visitor access and community use will be lost forever. Instead, the atmosphere of the place could be ruined by inappropriate development.
The opportunity
This is an exciting chance to get involved in securing a special part of Northumberland’s heritage. The National Trust needs to raise £6.3m to save Seaton Delaval Hall. Your donations or fundraising efforts will help to ensure the Hall, its gardens and green space, become a hub for the local community and a place for everyone to enjoy.
