…and it’s so much bigger than you think
705 miles of coastline; 600,000 acres of glorious countryside; 28 magnificent castles; over 300 historic buildings: the National Trust has committed to protect all these national treasures and more – for ever, for everyone.
This is an enormous undertaking for any charity, which is why we launched the For Ever, For Everyone Appeal last year.
As a direct result of the money raised – we were able to achieve a great deal. This includes the restoration of 15 miles of historic cliff path near the Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim, plus the acquisition of Arnside and Torver Intakes in the Lake District and Coldwell Clough in the Peak District.

The rising costs of caring… Every year, the cost of caring for so many special places rises steeply, and over the next 12 months, the challenges facing us as a charity are even greater.

To do all this and more, we need your support
Please make a donation today. Your gift will help to make sure future generations will continue to experience walking through majestic sunlit countryside …seeing children’s faces light up as history comes to life…being welcomed home by the first glimpse of the White Cliffs of Dover – and a thousand other joys of our lives.
A landscape without them is unthinkable.
The For Ever, For Everyone prize draw has been won by Miss S M Tickle, from Liverpool. She has won holiday cottage vouchers.
