The National Trust has an Annual General Meeting for its members. The AGM usually takes place towards the end of October or early November.
The meeting gives members the opportunity to ask questions about the activities of the Trust and for us to seek your views on the way we work. Any members' resolutions are debated, and there are a number of ways that we showcase our work and promote our campaigns and appeals.
As well as the formal AGM business in the morning, there is an opportunity to put questions to the Chairman and Director-General in the afternoon at their surgery.
Attending the AGM in person isn't the only way to join in. Since 2006 we have been broadcasting the event live via our website - members can watch the webcast locally and take part in the webchat or email in any questions or comments on the day.
