November 2009 – Join our Board of Trustees
Closing date 5pm on 11 January 2010
The National Trust cares for more than 350 historic properties, over 625,000 acres of countryside and more than 700 miles of coastline. We welcome and inspire over 50 million visitors every year. We are looking for new Trustees for one of the world’s largest conservation charities. The post is voluntary but expenses will be paid.
Our Board of Trustees is the guardian of our ethos and values. It shapes our strategy, protects our financial stability and ensures we can continue to care for special places for ever, for everyone. We are looking for candidates from a broad range of backgrounds to help govern our charity. The role requires a commitment of approximately 20 days a year.
