This year’s Annual General Meeting and members’ weekend is being held on 1-2 November 2008 in Liverpool, the 2008 European Capital of Culture.
We would very much like to see you at the AGM, but if you can’t be there in person there are a number of ways to join in. Our webcasts of previous events have proved very popular; indeed more of you watched the live proceedings last year than ever before and we were gratified by the number of questions that you sent or emailed in to us for answering on the day - we hope you will do this again this year.
Voting
Voting in the elections to Council and on the resolutions.
This year we have introduced a new way for you to have your say in the elections to the Council and on the resolutions by voting online – it is quick secure and environmentally-friendly. In order to vote online you will need your copy of this year’s voting papers, 'Vote for your Trust', which are delivered with your copy of the autumn edition of the National Trust magazine. Your voting papers contain your unique security code which you will need to access the online voting site.
If you have received your voting papers and are ready to vote online please visit www.votebyinternet.com/nt08
*Please note you will need your own copy of the voting paper to be able to vote. This is delivered with the autumn edition of the National Trust magazine sent to members between 1 September and 4 October 2008.
