We asked four volunteers from all over the Trust about their experiences while volunteering with the Trust.
Here's what they had to say about it:
Valerie:
 |
Valerie is a very enthusiastic volunteer. Not only is she working on a garden restoration project in the Lake District, but she is also training to be a helmsman on the steam yacht Gondola. |
Thomas:
 |
Thomas volunteers in the National Trust's central office in Swindon. He greets visitors to the building and helps to advertise the volunteering programme. |
Gill:
 |
Gill helps run a wildlife afterschool club for primary pupils in the Coniston area. The club aims to help children gain a better understanding of the world around them. |
Ben:
 |
Ben works on the You, Me and the Climate project, which aims to to reach out to young people, and to help them take a lead on climate change in their local communities. |
