Key roles
Learning Assistant
2,200 learning volunteers work with Trust staff to offer school and other educational groups a rich mix of activities including dance, drama, music, art, science and creative writing. They play an important part in assisting both children and adults to learn about the work of the Trust and the properties in our care.
Speaker
The voluntary talks service provides speakers nation-wide to over 1,500 groups per year. Our speakers talk about many aspects of our work, covering individual properties and gardens, regional highlights, conservation and coastlines. Some speakers specialise in particular interests such as children’s topics, smaller properties, ceramics or historical characters.
We are always happy to hear from people who would like to become National Trust approved speakers. If you think you could enthral a group with your speaking skills and enthusiasm for the Trust’s work, we’d like to hear from you. Find out more.
Recruiter
Help to enrol new members, and play an important part in promoting the National Trust to visitors and assisting with their questions about the property and the Trust in general.
