Arrival Times
There is no booking system and campers are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
During high and peak season and weekends, campers are advised to arrive early to secure a pitch or phone ahead for information but please note:
- Low Wray Campsite
Visitors must register before pitching during reception opening hours as follows:
- Low Season: 1pm until 7pm
- High and Peak Season and Fridays throughout the season: 12pm until 8pm.*
- Wasdale and Great Langdale Campsites
- Campers are requested to arrive before 10pm to avoid disturbance to other campers.
Departure Times
We request that visitors leave by 11am on their day of departure at all campsites.
Parking
To protect the natural beauty of the sites, parking is available in designated areas away from tent pitches.
Clubs and organised groups
These may book in advance at both Low Wray and Langdale and by prior arrangement only at Wasdale.

*** Peak Season: 18th July until 31st August and bank holiday weekends.
Please note: Bank Holiday weekends will be charged at Peak Season prices and are subject to a minimum two night stay.
