Nobody forgets their first sight of Blickling.

As the road turns past the church, the south front suddenly comes into view: a stunning confection of local red brick and Ketton limestone, Dutch gables and turrets, framed by massive yew hedges and service wings with even more picturesque gables.

The effect continues inside reflecting the fashions and tastes of the people who have lived here for over four centuries.

This great Jacobean house is surrounded by rolling Norfolk countryside and parkland with views over the ornamental lake and glorious parterre gardens.

The Hall provides an impressive and magnificent venue for conferences, seminars and fine dining. We pride ourselves on our individual attention to the needs of every client, and we will be delighted to assist you in planning your event.

If you are after a secluded, private space then the Garden Suite offers the perfect location for lunches, meetings and dinners. Recently redecorated in the style of the Hall, the rooms have exquisite views over the gardens and the lake. Adjacent to the Hall and lake are the two marquee sites which offer beautiful views.

For the first time since opening its doors for business, The National Trust is offering a selection of its venues for both mixed and single company Christmas Party Nights. These beautiful surroundings offer the charm of Christmas with a modern twist so your guests can’t help but be impressed by the venue you have chosen.
