The contrast between the lavishly decorated interiors, and the shell of a former austere priory gives Anglesey Abbey a truly unique atmosphere.

The old monastic buildings were converted to domestic use at the beginning of the 17th century and the monks’ original common room, with its marvellous vaulted ceiling, is a surviving feature of the old priory.

With the recent completion of the Redwood Restaurant and the Robinson Room, the Abbey offers a fine blend of modern and historic, making it a great venue for wedding receptions.

Formal and informal areas blend perfectly in this 20th-century landscaped garden. With immaculate lawns and sweeping avenues there’s something in the garden for every season whatever time of year you have your wedding.

The Redwoods Restaurant

This incredible room is a light, airy space, perfect for entertaining guests in the evening with a stunning backdrop of Anglesey’s award-winning grounds.

The Glade Marquee Site

Give your wedding a quintessentially English feel with a marquee drinks reception in the Rose Garden or on the Front Lawn. With the Abbey as a backdrop, this beautiful venue can't help but impress your guests.

The Lower Gallery

The Galleries were originally built to house Lord Fairhaven's collection of Windsor views the collection is second only to the Royal collection. Treat your guests to a glimpse of this special room for a drinks reception.
