2010 will be a year like no other for Antony.
Director Tim Burton chose Antony to be a key location for the new Disney adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, which was released in cinemas on 5 March 2010. Since filming took place at Antony in 2008, we've been inspired to create our own magical wonderland.
The house, garden and estate have been transformed so you can enjoy our tea parties, walk through scenes from the dream-like stories of Alice, and even meet our own Mad Hatters.

Alice's games
In the summer have a go at croquet in the grounds. Look out for the giant chessboard and gather friends, new or old, to become your own game of chess. Become the queen, king or a knight, and have a ‘battle of wills’ in this most fantastic of settings.
Still got some energy left? Join in the Caucous race – no rules or instructions – and let off steam. You may even win a prize!
Mad Hatter's tea parties
On weekends and bank holidays you're invited to join Alice on an interactive theatrical performance round the garden. Meet some familiar characters and finish in the marquee with more games and lots of party fun.
Primarily aimed at the 5 to 12 age group, the parties start at 11am and 2.30pm, and last for about an hour.
Normal admission applies plus an additional £5 per child (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Because of high demand pre-booking is advisable on 01208 265269 or by email.
In the house
When the house is open, you'll be able to spot several of the film’s locations and read about the changes that were made during the filming.
There's even a recreation of Alice’s bedroom where children are able to play and let their imaginations take over.
Admission to the house is by timed ticket only and at busy times the ticket allocation goes very quickly, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
