Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under close control at all times to avoid worrying wildlife. Please help us to look after the estate by taking any dog mess home with you.

Visitor centre
Try out the fun interactive games in our Visitor Centre's new Discovery Room to find out more about Ashridge's wildlife and history. It also offers a study base for school groups and private hire.

A wide variety of leaflets including self-guided walks and I-Spy sheets are available from the Visitor Centre.
Learning
The Ashridge estate is very popular with school groups. Facilities include an education room, hands-on activities and taught programmes for primary schools. Contact us to find out more.
Base camp
The Chilterns volunteer base camp is situated on the Ashridge estate. It providing group accommodation for up to 20 people. Contact us to find out more.
Available for functions
The study base can be hired for small private functions. Meadley's Meadow, behind the Visitor Centre, can also be hired out.
