The garden was completely redesigned in the early 20th century by Colonel and Mrs Jenner. Timeless topiary, formal gardens, tranquil spaces, orchards and walkways are framed by ancient walls and box hedges in a series of 'outdoor rooms'. Some features may be survivals of the original priory precinct.
The manor house is occupied and furnished by private leaseholders. House not suitable for groups due to space restrictions, garden is suitable for groups. Following periods of prolonged wet weather it may be necessary to close the house and garden
