Originally built for entertaining, the historic Assembly Rooms provide the perfect backdrop to any event, from a wedding ceremony and reception to a large conference or dinner dance.
This stunning Georgian venue, dating back to 1771, is still adorned with its original Whitefriars crystal chandeliers and the newly refurbished Fashion Museum is also available for private hire.
All three main rooms in the Assembly Rooms can be used for civil ceremonies and many couples choose to spend their whole day in this historic building, moving seamlessly from one room to another for ceremony, drinks and reception.

In addition, we can offer exciting food tailored to suit your specific needs. For the duration of your event, we provide you with a dedicated Function Manager and for dinners and receptions, a Banqueting Manager will be responsible for your catering.
Bath’s Assembly Rooms are conveniently located in the centre of this World Heritage City, with all major travel links close by and situated close to many of the city’s hotels and amenities.
