About this property This fine example of Restoration architecture was built in 1685-8 for 'Young' Sir John Brownlow and featured in the BBC's adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Enjoy stunning rooms displayed in 17th-century, Regency, Victorian and 1930s style, with fine furnishings, tapestries, paintings and Grinling GIbbons' wood carvings. Outside, the tranquil gardens, richly planted Orangery and wonderful lakeside walks are a delight to explore.
