    Opening times for Morston Quay Information Centre and tea-room is weather-dependent. Access restrictions during the bird breeding season (Apr-Sept) and on Blakeney Point throughout winter due to breeding seals.
     
    Note  Important Note
    Stiffkey Saltmarsh is regularly flooded by the tide and can be difficult to access. Always check tide times before your visit.

    Access and dog walking restrictions vary at certain times of the year due to important ground nesting birds. Please avoid fenced areas and look out for signage, especially in the summer.

    Local Authority maintained WCs at Blakeney Quay and Morston Quay.
     
    Dogs  Dogs
    Dogs welcome on leads or under close control at all times. No dogs at Friary Hills. No dogs from April to mid-August at Blakeney Point, except for dog walking areas at Lifeboat House and near Cley Beach. For more details please see on-site information or download our dog walking leaflet.

    Several pubs nearby in the villages of Stiffkey, Morston, Blakeney, Wiveton and Cley.
     
    Visitor centre  Visitor centre
    The Information Centre on Morston Quay provides an introduction to the nature reserve and what you can see here. It is open during busy periods, normally two hours either side of high tide. This can vary due to weather conditions.

    Leaflets and information panels can be found at Morston Quay Information Centre and at the Lifeboat House on Blakeney Point.

    Guided wildlife walks can be organised for schools and groups, but need to be booked in advance by contacting the office on 01263 740241.
     
    Holiday cottage  National Trust holiday cottages
    Mrs Preedy's Cottage is an attractive semi-detached cottage close to the Norfolk Heritage coast standing in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sleeps 5. Available for short breaks and week bookings.
