 | A private ferry runs from Burnham Overy Staithe (weather permitting) taking visitors to the internationally important Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve, managed by Natural England (tel. 01485 210515). Scolt Head NNR is an important breeding site for four species of tern, oystercatcher and ringed plover.
