Accessible WCs loacted at Visitor Reception, the Visitor Cente and the Baden-Powell Outdoor Centre.
Pathways and open space
Paths leading to the Visitor Centre are fairly level and smooth. Beyond that the island tracks are rough in places and can be difficult to negotiate.
All-ability trails
Free tractor-trailer trails for less mobile visitors, twice daily, 11am and 1.30pm. Spaces are limited and booking is essential at Visitor Reception. The trail lasts about 1 hour.
Seating, rest points and shelter
Seating is available at Church Field, Baden-Powell Outdoor Centre, Horse Field and various other places around the island.
On site transport
Wheelchairs are available to hire for free from Visitor Reception. It is advisable to pre-book.
Visitor centre
Visitor Reception has a level entrance, but the exit has a step. There is an alternative accessible exit via a side gate.
The Visitor Centre is accessible to wheelchairs and has a level floor inside.
Shop
The shop is accessible to wheelchairs and has a level floor inside.
Refreshments
The Villano Café is accessible to wheelchairs and has a level floor inside. Lower level counters are provided.

Sensory highlights
Breathe in the smells of the sea whilst listening to the sound of lapping waves on pebble and sandy beeches and the hustle and bustle of a busy boating harbour. Feel the wind on your face and hear the chattering of birds; the loud cries of peacocks are never far away!
