    Swimming in the sea at Hive Beach can be dangerous due to strong undercurrents.

    Dogs are welcome on beaches between 1 Oct-31 May and must be kept on leads throughout the rest of the estate.

    Hive Beach and the surrounding grassed areas are lovely spots for a picnic.

    Hive Beach Café (NT tenant-managed) specialises in a vast range of local fish. Open all year round.
     
    Information for visitors  Information for visitors
    Leaflets and maps of the area are available during the summer months from our National Trust recruiter at the entrance to Hive Beach, where there is also an information point.

    A pack of nine circular walks leaflets, featuring Burton Bradstock and neighbouring sites along the World Heritage Site, is available from our on-site recruiter. Alternatively, please contact us to have one sent to you in advance of your visit.
