Burton Bradstock is great for a fun family day out, from paddling in the sea to hunting for fossils along the beach.

The South West Coast Path runs through the estate and is linked by numerous local circular walks. A walks pack containing nine leaflets is available at Hive Beach from our on-site recruiter during the summer months, or contact us to have one sent in advance of your visit.

Hive Beach is a popular spot for diving, where you can discover some fantastic underwater Jurassic geology and marine wildlife.

Hive Beach is a good spot for sea angling (own equipment required).

Care should be taken when swimming in the sea at Hive Beach due to the strong undercurrents. Swimmers are responsible for their own safety as there are no lifeguards.

A local conservation volunteer group meets once a month to help maintain the estate through a variety of tasks, including dry stone walling, scrub clearing, maintenance of fences and footpaths, beach litter collection and general upkeep of the estate. For further details please contact us.
