Sensory highlights
Enjoy the feel of a fresh breeze on your face as you clamber up the hillside or take in the panoramic views across Dorset's rolling countryside. Admire the colourful wild flowers that bloom here in summer, like birdsfoot trefoil, early purple orchid, cowslip, common spotted orchid and field scabious. These attract lots of fluttering butterflies, including common blue, small heath and marsh fritillery.
