Perched high above the River Tamar, the boundary between Cornwall and the rest of England, lies Cotehele House.
At the heart of its surrounding estate, Cotehele is a remarkable representation of the spirit of one family passed down through 17 generations.
Outside, the rough granite and slatestone walls prove that this house was dug out of its landscape.

Beyond the castellated but modest gatehouse and the grandeur of the Great Hall, small, dimly lit, interconnecting rooms evoke an atmosphere of ancient harmony.
The surrounding garden and estate have their own stories to tell. The estate lies wholly within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the gardens provide a stunning backdrop to this medieval house. This enigmatic and unique setting with its colourful surroundings provides an ideal location for that special day.
