    WCs in Branscombe behind village hall (not NT), on the beach (not NT) and adjacent to the National Trust information centre.

    WCs situated all over Exmouth and the seafront and in Sidmouth and Seaton.

    Dogs welcome. Seasonal restrictions apply on Exmouth and Branscombe beaches.

    There are lots of lovely places to enjoy a picnic. (Picnics not permitted in the orchard adjacent to the Old Bakery tea-room in Branscombe).

    The Old Bakery tea-room (NT tenant-managed) serves light refreshments.

    The village hall in Branscombe is available for group visits. Catering is provided by the Old Bakery tea-rooms. Please contact us for more information. The Forge (NT tenant-managed) in Branscombe sells ornamental ironwork made by the blacksmith, ranging from chairs to letter openers.

    For an introduction to Branscombe village and its history, from lace-making to smuggling, visit the information centre adjacent to the Old Bakery tea-room.

    There are six information panels at various locations between Sidmouth and Branscombe and two panels adjacent to the geoneedle at Orcambe Point. A further two panels are located at the National Trust campsite at Prattshayes.
     
    Learning  Learning
    We offer introductory talks and guided walks for group visits to Branscombe. These should be booked in advance by contacting the estate office on 01392 881691.

    Forge Cottage, Branscombe, sleeps 4.

    Six holiday cottages on the Killerton Estate, sleeps from 4-6 people.
     
    Base camps  Base camp
    Prattshayes Basecamp, a converted barn near Exmouth, sleeps 10.

    Prices for 2010: £100 per night off-peak; £140 per night peak (Easter, May half-term, July and August and Christmas).

    Full payment as deposit required for one to two nights and 50 per cent deposit required for two or more nights.

    Campsite for tents and caravans at Prattshayes base camp, only 1 mile from Exmouth beach. A small field with individual electric hook-ups, showers and WCs.

    Prices for 2010: £4 adult (high peak £5*); £2 child (high peak £2.50*); electric £2.50.
