East Riddlesden Hall is a wonderful 17th-century merchant's house, with a barn and bothy, set in dramatic grounds.
The Great Hall is a stately and atmospheric setting for smaller weddings and ceremonies, whilst the Airedale Barn is a multi-purpose venue suitable for larger groups and functions.

The formal gardens offer a tranquil and elegant setting for drinks, receptions and photos. On Fridays, and after 5pm at weekends, you can have exclusive use of East Riddlesden, but at other times we allow access for visitors.

The Great Hall
An atmospheric stone chamber with a high roof and large fireplace, and 17th-century tapestries adorning the walls. Brides can make a suitably dramatic entrance via a large wooden staircase.
The Airedale Barn
A large converted beamed barn, with underfloor heating and large doors which can be thrown open to give your guests access to the lawn in the summer. The dramatic gardens offer a really special place for your wedding photographs after the ceremony.

When can civil wedding ceremonies be held at East Riddlesden Hall?
In the Airedale Barn, ceremonies can take place on any day, at any time during the year. The Great Hall is available at any time on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Hall is available before 11.30am.
Between 4 November 2007 and 1 March 2008, the Great Hall is available at any time and any day at a reduced rate for winter civil ceremonies.
Receptions
The spacious Airedale Barn has a bar and you can decorate the interior to your own taste. During the warmer months, the lawn can be used for drinks, canapés and music.
