    Accessibility

This page contains useful information about access at this property. Please contact the property in advance of your visit if you have any particular questions.

    Accessibility - mobility  Mobility information

    Parking
Two parking spaces are reserved for disabled visitors in Low Newton Square and badge holders can park on local double yellow lines, though please don't block entrances or turning areas.

    WC
Accessible WCs behind Low Newton Square.

    Pathways and open space
Many of the coastal paths are uneven natural surfaces of rock, grass, hard or soft sand, with some steps and slopes. The pavement from Low Newton car park to the beach and square is downhill.

    All-ability trails
A wide gravel path, suited to pushchairs and wheelchairs, leads from behind Low Newton Square and Embleton Dunes to an accessible wildlife-viewing hide at Newton Pool.

    Seating, rest points and shelter
We have provided natural seating and resting points at frequent intervals around the village of Low Newton. The wildlife-viewing hides at Newton Pool provide some shelter too.

    Visitor centre
Short gently sloping ramps give access to the visitor information point in Low Newton Square and the Newton Pool accessible wildlife-viewing hide.

    Accessibility - sensory  Sensory highlights

There is always something to see or listen to at Newton, whether it's the birds on the shore and at the pool, or the sea itself, this environment offers a range of sensory highlights.
