Throughout the academic year Felbrigg offers schools the opportunity to bring groups of students to taste what servant life was like in 1869. Costumed volunteers take on the role of house staff and put prospective ‘servants’ through their paces to see if they are suitable for employment at the ‘big house’! Teachers' packs are available by contacting the Felbrigg property office. During the school holidays this is offered as a Family Living History Day so everyone can join in the fun.
We have visits from the National Trust Roadshow, and touring theatre groups
The Hall, Garden and parkland offer wonderful learning opportunities and, to help visitors get the most out of a visit, we have guided tours of the Hall daily at 12 noon, and regular Estate and Garden tours. We also have monthly Attics and Cellars tours.
A comprehensive guidebook is available from the shop and Visitor Reception.
During the winter there is a series of Lecture Lunches with themes to suit everyone.
