Volunteers play a vital part in opening any National Trust house to the public, and Felbrigg is no exception. Felbrigg is fortunate in the choice of volunteering opportunities it can offer.
At Felbrigg we have a pool of volunteers involved in a wide range of activities both indoors and out.
In the hall, these include room stewarding, special events and activities, flower arranging, education and Living History. There are also volunteering opportunities in the second-hand bookshop.
Outdoors we have gardening volunteers and garden stewards, estate and countryside volunteers. We also have a number of DIYers, marketing and events volunteers and volunteer entertainers.
We like to think that we can offer a wide range of activities to suit all ages and abilities, all we ask is a regular commitment. In return we can offer the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic group of like-minded people, social activities such as talks and outings, and beautiful surroundings.
