Both Millicent Salting and her daughter Lady Binning collected Georgian furniture. Their taste was for the delicate and decorative.
A fine suite of painted satinwood furniture in the Sheraton style sits in the Drawing Room. It includes a small secretaire-cabinet flanked by a pair of side tables painted with floral garlands, on one of which is placed an elaborate painted satinwood tea caddy. Four chairs date from 1800.
