    Weddings at Hanbury Hall

    Hanbury Hall provides a unique setting for your wedding celebrations, in the care of the National Trust. The proceeds from wedding ceremonies and receptions go directly towards the conservation work at the Hall.

    The early 18th-century Hall with its famous wall paintings by Sir James Thornhill is set in 20-acres of restored early 18th-century gardens. These provide a beautiful setting for your guests to enjoy drinks after the ceremony and they also provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs.

    The Main Hall

    The main hall incorporates the great staircase with wall paintings by Sir James Thornhill.

    The Dining Room

    The Dining Room has a painted ceiling by Sir James Thornhill. In the early 19th century it was converted from two rooms into the Dining Room you can see today.

    The Library

    Originally 'my Lady's parlour' when the house was built, the room is now presented as the Library.

    • Suitable for: Wedding ceremonies, receptions

    Marquee

    Hire of the grounds at Hanbury Hall for an agreed period between 6.30pm and 11.30pm, for a marquee function for up to 200 guests : £1,400 (+ marquee cost).

    Availability

    Hanbury Hall is available for hire on Thursdays and Fridays from March to December. The House and Gardens are available for evening receptions after 6.30pm seven days a week between March and December (events permitting). During November and December the hall is available seven days a week.

    Charges / Hire fees

    Civil Ceremony - Hire of Hanbury Hall for a two-hour period for up to 60 guests - £750

    Civil ceremony and Reception - Hire of Hanbury Hall for an agreed period between 11am and 11.30pm, for a ceremony, drinks reception and seated dining for up to 40 guests or up to 60 guests for a buffet - £2,200

    Reception Only – Hire of Hanbury Hall for a five hour period for up to 60 guests - £1,800
