A stately home on the edge of the Peak District, Hardwick Hall has a dramatic location set on a hilltop on the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire border. It's ideally situated, with easy access from the M1 motorway.
Hardwick Hall is a spectacular Elizabethan mansion built by ‘Bess of Hardwick’, Countess of Shrewsbury. Civil ceremonies and partnerships take place in the imposing Entrance Hall, with its grand overmantel fireplace and Elizabethan tapestries.
Walled courtyards enclose fine gardens, orchards and a herb garden - an idyllic location for romantic photos and an opportunity for guests to enjoy the colourful borders with a post-ceremony drinks reception and canapés.
Two luxury holiday cottages are also available to hire for close family and friends.
