Why not catch the train to Haslemere and then follow the Greensand Way to Hindhead, savouring the stunning views across the Weald along the way.
By foot
The Greensand Way is a long distance path stretching for 108 miles across Surrey and Kent. The waymarked path starts in the nearby town of Haslemere and runs through the estate. It is hilly and uneven in places.
By bike
The Surrey Cycleway starts at Haslemere , from which the estate can be directly accessed via Farnham Lane. Cycle parking is available at the Devil's Punch Bowl Café.
From the north: travel south along the A3 Guildford road. Hindhead Commons is located 300yds before the junction with the A287.
From the south: travel north along the A3 Petersfield road. Hindhead Commons is located 300yds past the junction with the A287.
