    Fun Easter trails and guided walks throughout the year including bat, orchard, woodland and coastal walks. Booking advisable through the estate office.
     
    Family highlights  Family highlights
    Lots of wide open spaces for children to let off steam as well as fun activities to enjoy nearby. Try pony trekking at Burrowhayes Farm (not NT). Visit Exmoor Falconry Centre and Animal Farm at Bossington (not NT), or
    Allerford Rural Life Museum and Victorian School (not NT).
     
    Walking  Walking
    There are one hundred and fifty miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore through enchanting rural landscapes, woods, moors, farmland and villages. There are also two easy access trails at Bossington Hill and Webbers Post.

    A pack of eight walks leaflets and other walks leaflets are available to buy from the estate office, Porlock Visitor Centre and Periwinkle Tea Rooms in Selworthy.

    The South West Coast Path, The Coleridge Way and The Macmillan Way all pass through the estate.
     
    Cycling  Cycling
    An extensive bridleway network makes this a popular area for cycling for both families and mountain bikers.
     
    Fishing  Fishing
    Bossington Beach is a great spot for sea fishing. You can do trout fishing too, on a limited stretch of the Horner Water, by prior arrangement only. Tickets are available from the estate office and Horner Tea Gardens.
     
    Horse riding  Horse riding
    Enjoy a pony trek from Burrowhayes Farm (not NT) in West Lucombe for both novice and experienced riders.
