To visit Ickworth is to enter a world to be explored.
Introduction Ickworth House, Park and Gardens offers a range of facilities to help encourage learning in all age groups. Catering for school groups and individuals, adults and children, the eccentric elegance of Ickworth House gives the ideal frame within which to picture the past. Woodland walks explore our relationship with the outdoor environment, garden trails explore our notions of space.
Learning in an open, safe environment takes children out of the classroom, away from the home to a site that offers a plethora of learning environments, all of which offer different educational approaches to how we view the world.
A diverse range of art and antique collections provides the basis for our adult-orientated learning programme. Guided tours highlight aspects of the Trust’s work and collections unseen by the casual visitor. Woodland walks, archaeology tours and house tours cater to many tastes and provide a rich visiting experience.
