Family highlights
Fly a kite or just let off some steam in the open countryside around Kinver Edge. Young wildlife detectives should keep a look out for buzzard soaring overhead or lizards basking in the summer sun in the heathland. Early risers can hear a fantastic dawn chorus here in May. Children will love exploring the Rock Grounds, the area around the houses, which includes the upper terrace, orchard, meadow and allotments.
Walking
There is a great network of footpaths to explore at Kinver Edge. A self-guided walks leaflet, describing two way-marked circular trails around the estate, can be purchased at the rock houses.
Cycling
Off-road cyclists are welcome on byways and bridleways and it is possible to cycle around Kinver Edge.
Horse riding
