Working as a volunteer at Marsden Moor Estate can be both rewarding and educational for both you and the National Trust.
The range of tasks at Marsden Moor Estate is endless, but as a brief outline, these include:
- fence building,
- heather spreading,
- tree planting,
- monitoring the vegetation and wildlife,
- carrying out patrols,
- leading and backing up guided walks,
- administration and planning and
- helping with events
Maybe you have a skill that we can use, or a hidden talent that we can utilise. Would you like to try something, but feel embarrassed because you don't know how? Don't worry, we can train you. Not only that, there are a variety of different ways to volunteer.
For more information you can either contact the warden by telephone on 01484 847016 or send an email.
