    Guided coastal walks at Baggy Point and farm walks at Mortehoe offer a great chance to explore this area with local countryside experts.
     
    Family highlights  Family highlights
    Tractor and trailer rides giving a guided tour of Mortehoe are a family favourite each summer. Woolacombe beach is a marvellous place for sand castles and paddling too.
     
    Walking  Walking
    The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail pass along the entire length of this property from Croyde to Ilfracombe. Circular walks on Baggy Point and Morte Point are easy and popular, but there are quieter routes to explore inland too.

    There are lots of bridleways to explore with a horse. Woolacombe Riding Stables at Eastacott Farm offer horse-hire, rides and tuition for beginners, as well as experienced riders.
     
    Paragliding or hang-gliding  Paragliding or hang-gliding
    Woolacombe Down offers good paragliding conditions. Contact the North Devon Hangliding and Paragliding Club to join in.
     
    Climbing  Rock climbing
    Baggy Point has some great climbing routes. There are access limits during bird-nesting season. Details are available at Baggy Point car park or from the British Mountaineering Council

    Excellent surfing at Woolacombe and Croyde beaches.

    100s of volunteers gain conservation skills and friends helping us each year with tasks like scrub clearing, beach cleaning, path maintenance and wall building.
