Weddings at Mount Stewart

With its impressive house, inspirational gardens and beautiful setting on the tranquil shores of Strangford Lough, Mount Stewart is the perfect place to say 'I do'.

Home of the Londonderry family, the house and its contents reflect the remarkable history of their lives. You and your wedding guests can follow in the footsteps of royalty, movie stars, poets and no less than five prime ministers.

Lady Londonderry created the gardens which she called her 'green fairyland'. From the manicured formal terraces to the grandeur of the lake, they breathtakingly overflow with vibrant rare plants that thrive in the mild climate.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions can take place in the Temple of the Winds, the Central Hall, or in a marquee in the gardens. These three beautiful locations offer a unique backdrop for your perfect day.

Temple of the Winds

The exquisite Temple of the Winds is a small 18th-century banqueting hall. This Neo-classical gem, with stunning views over Strangford Lough, was used by the family as an informal retreat from the main house.

Central Hall
