    WCs located in Murlough National Nature Reserve car park (NT).
     
    Dogs  Dogs
    Dogs are welcome to most parts of the reserve, including the main boardwalk. There are restrictions in some areas in spring and summer when ground-nesting birds are breeding or cattle are grazing. Please abide by local signs and help us to keep the area special by clearing up dog mess and taking it home with you.
     
    Picnics  Picnic areas
    Picnic tables can be found in the car park. Feel free to spread a blanket on the beach too, but please take your litter home.
     
    Refreshments  Eating and shopping
    Visit the locally run coffee shop, located in the main NT car park. The coffee shop is open seven days a week in the summer and most weekends out of season.
     
    Pub  Public houses
    The nearest pub is the Maghera Inn, located 3 miles from the reserve, on the B180 towards Newcastle.

    Pick up a nature trail leaflet from the Warden's Office at Murlough National Nature Reserve or the car park admission area.

    Look out for information panels at the entrances to the reserve and along the main boardwalk to find out more about the wildlife and history of Murlough.

    Guided nature walks and volunteer events take place throughout the year, charges normally apply for guided walks. School groups are welcome and must be booked in advance.

    Holiday cottage  National Trust holiday cottages
    The National Trust has two fantastic holiday cottages at Murlough National Nature Reserve.

    Murlough Cottage, Dundrum, sleeps 3.
    Murlough Gate Lodge, Dundrum sleeps 4 +cot.

    Both cottages offer glorious views over Dundrum Inner Bay on the edge of the Murlough National Nature Reserve.
