Nostell Priory houses England's best collection of documented Chippendale furniture, designed specially for the house by the great cabinetmaker. Other treasures include an outstanding art collection, a longcase clock by John 'Longitude' Harrison and a remarkable 18th-century doll's house, complete with its original fittings and Chippendale-style furniture. The house is also home to one of the finest libraries in the National Trust's care. The grounds contain a stunning collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, rose garden and lakeside walks.
