Shop and plant sales

The gift shop offers an extensive range of gifts, books, local crafts and produce including wine and beers. There is a garden sales area offering a large selection of plants including some of the more unusual plants which can be seen in the garden, also other garden related products.

The Pavilion Restaurant and Tea Garden

There is a licensed Pavilion restaurant and tea garden serving morning coffee, afternoon tea and appetising snacks and lunches. Children’s menus and high chairs are available. There is also a tea kiosk which serves drinks, ice-creams and light refreshments from May to the end of September.

Nymans’ menu is themed around garden-inspired dishes and uses herbs, flowers, fruit and vegetables that are in season and often in the garden. The selection of home-made cakes uses herbs and flowers to create unique delicacies such as lavender and rose petal shortbread, lamb, rosemary and apricot pie and lavender bread and butter pudding.

Private functions

The Pavilion Restaurant and main reception building can be booked for private functions outside normal opening hours.
