About this property The small, tranquil village of Newtown once sent two members to Parliament and the Town Hall was the setting for often turbulent elections. This intriguing historic building is the only remaining evidence of the former importance of Newtown and contains local history and an exhibition depicting the exploits of 'Ferguson's Gang' a mysterious group of anonymous benefactors.
