Dogs
Dogs are welcome on National Trust land and beaches, but please keep on leads when sheep are grazing and help us to keep the area special by clearing up when they foul.
Picnic areas
A great place to enjoy a picnic, but please remember to take your rubbish home with you.

There are several cafés serving light refreshments at Overbeck's, South Milton Sands (not NT) and East Portlemouth (not NT).
Public houses
There are a number of pubs nearby in Hope Cove, Salcombe and Prawle.

Base camp
The Salcombe YHA youth hostel overlooks the tropical gardens at Overbeck's, giving fantastic views across the estuary.
