    A distinctive, historic landmark with unrivalled views well worth the walk along the White Cliffs. The building has a fascinating tale to tell: a beacon of safety guiding ships past the infamous Goodwin Sands; the first lighthouse powered by electricity and the site of the first international radio transmission. Note: no access for cars. External decoration taking place during May and June
