Entering the estate along the majestic tree-lined avenue you and your guests are greeted by the stunning sight of one of Britain’s finest surviving Tudor mansions, which is steeped in a history stretching back over 450 years.

You will be warmly welcomed as you enter the mansion across the north moat bridge, through the imposing gatehouse, and make your way along the richly decorated corridors to the Great Hall. With its grand fireplace and oak panelling the Great Hall provides a suitably impressive and yet intimate backdrop to your ceremony.

Afterwards you might choose to offer your guests a fine selection of drinks and canapés provided by our approved caterer while you have your photographs taken in the beautiful landscaped gardens.

The Great Hall

The Great Hall dates from the early 1530s, and its rich oak panelling and grand fireplace have stood witness to countless festivities and celebrations over the intervening centuries.

The restored gardens, including a romantic rose garden and stream garden, offer the perfect setting for drinks and canapés provided by our approved caterer. The beautiful landscaped gardens also offer a magnificent back drop for your wedding photographs.
