    Guided walks are organised by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority on our land around Stackpole and Bosherton.

    A fantastic place to discover wildlife, you'll spot lots of animals and birds on a lakeside, woodland or coastal ramble.

    The sandy beaches at Broadhaven South and Barafundle are also very good for bathing and sandcastle-building.

    Safari Holidays are on offer at the 'Stackpole for Outdoor Learning' eco-centre for the whole family to come together and have a go at activities like pond dipping, kayaking and conservation work.

    A variety of coastal, woodland and lakeside trails to explore, including eight miles of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

    Lots of circular routes, from one mile long ones, to half day excursions.

    The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, west of Broadhaven South into Castlemartin MoD Range, is sometimes closed for firing, detours inland are signposted.

    Six miles of woodland trails suitable for mountain bikes in Castle Dock and Cheriton Bottom Woods at the northeast end of Bosherton lakes.

    The 'Stackpole for Outdoor Learning' eco-centre offers school groups and families the chance to explore the area by bike on organised residential trips.
     
    Canoeing and kayaking  Canoeing and kayaking
    The Pembrokeshire Coast is a great area for sea kayaking with lots of small bays, inlets and interesting rock formations that are best appreciated from the coast.

    Stackpole Quay is a popular launch site for divers. For more enquiries, contact our Estate Office.
     
    Fishing  Fishing
    Coarse fishing is permitted from numbered pegs around Bosherton lakeside. Permits are available from our Estate Office, at the lakeside or from the Olde Worlde Cafe, Bosherston.
     
    Horse riding  Horse riding
    Six miles of woodland trails suitable for horse riding in Castle Dock and Cheriton Bottom Woods at the north east end of Bosherton lakes.
     
    Outdoor activity centre  Outdoor activity centre
    Environmental environmental education and active recreation come together for a fantastic, unique holiday at the 'Stackpole for Outdoor Learning' eco-centre. It offers residential trips for school groups in term time and families in the summer holidays.
     
    Climbing  Rock climbing
    The limestone cliffs around here offer some of the finest sea cliff climbing and coasteering in Europe.

    This is a very sensitive area for wildlife so it is important to take a look at the British Mountaineering Council's Climbing Crags website for information about local climbing restrictions on routes in South Pembrokeshire.

    Sailing and boating  Sailing and boating
    About 20 launch permits are available for small boats at Stackpole Quay. Contact our Estate Office for more information.

    Surfing  Surfing
    Freshwater West (6ml west of main estate) is one of Wales' finest surf beaches. Broadhaven South is also good for surfing in certain conditions.
     
    Swimming  Swimming
    Popular bathing beaches at Barafundle and Broadhaven South. Freshwater West is unsuitable for bathing due to rip currents.
     
    Get involved  Get involved
    Take part in a National Trust working holiday at Stackpole for a great chance to make friends while helping with footpath restoration and a range of other conservation or estate management tasks.

    We're always looking for regular local volunteers too - contact us to see how we could make use of your skills and help you gain new ones! We can provide some accommodation for long-term volunteers.
