Shop The Shop stocks a wide range of gifts from the National Trust and local artists. Reflecting the Arts and Crafts theme of the house, items include stationery, jewellery, ceramics, embroidery kits and cushions all following designs taken from Morris, Burne-Jones, De Morgan, Knox and other well known figures from this hugely influential and popular period.
Restaurant The licensed Barn Restaurant serves morning coffee, afternoon teas and home-made lunches. The menu, which is changed regularly, is based on historical recipes using local ingredients, and features dishes for those following gluten-free or diabetic diets.
Speciality home-made cakes are available and puddings include traditional favourites such as bread and butter pudding and steamed puddings.
There is a menu for younger visitors and children's picnic boxes can be purchased. The Barn Restaurant is also available for function hire, please telephone 01342 301795 for enquiries.
Holiday flat Standen's holiday accommodation is a second floor flat in the original servants' wing. The decorative design details mirror the family rooms in the house. Guests can enjoy wonderful views over the garden and unrestricted access to the grounds when the property is closed to the public.
