About this property
Glorious sandy beaches stretch continuously for three miles from South Haven Point to the chalk cliffs of Handfast Point and Old Harry Rocks, and include Shell Bay and a designated naturist area. The heathland behind the beach is a haven for many rare birds and native wildlife and is a designated National Nature Reserve. Studland is the richest 1,000 hectares (2,400 acres) for wild flowers in Britain. There are several trails through the sand dunes and woodlands, including bird hides at Little Sea. Studland Beach is just one highlight of the 3,200-hectare (8,000-acre) Purbeck Estate cared for by the National Trust.
