As access to the Homewood is limited, this selection of virtual views has been created to give an impression of the spaces within and around the house. It requires the QuickTime plug-in, which is available as a free download - see the downloads page for more details. Your browser may also ask you if you want to install an ActiveX control - this is necessary for the plug-in to work. The installation is automatic and very quick.

Each virtual panorama is presented on a separate page, and file sizes have been kept as small as possible to minimise access times via modem.

When a panorama appears, click in it with the mouse, and while holding down the button, drag gently to one side to look around the room. The further you move the mouse from where you first clicked, the faster the image will turn. If you see blank areas within the image, it is still downloading and should appear soon.

When the mouse moves over 'hotspots' - areas that link to other rooms - the pointer changes to this image:

You will also see the name of the room in the bar beneath the panorama.Release the mouse button and click again to visit the new area. If you wish to see where the links are within the panorama, click the arrow button in the bar underneath:
