    The National Trust information trailer is open but unmanned Mon-Fri. Weekday opening can also be weather dependent.

    No WCs on property, nearest public toilets in Wantage, 6 miles away. Local public houses and tea-rooms offer facilities for customers.
     
    Dogs  Dogs
    Dogs welcomes, on a lead where there is stock grazing and kept under control on other areas. This is especially important during lambing season to avoid worrying the sheep. A water bowl is available in the car park when info trailer is open.

    Picnic area near car park, a dog-free enclosure.

    Ice cream van at weekends and some weekdays, Easter to September.

    Nearest public houses in Woolstone and Uffington villages.

    Interpretation panels in the car park tell you about the Uffington White Horse estate.

    Suitable for school groups of all ages, with links to history, ecology and geography curriculums. Please let us know when you plan to visit. Guided tours with warden and education officer available on request.
     
    Holiday cottage  National Trust holiday cottages
    Old Stable Loft, Coleshill, part of a Victorian model farmyard, sleeps 3.

    4 Rowleaze Cottage and 5 Rowleaze Cottage, Eaton Hastings, part of a row of historic farmworkers cottages, sleeps 2 or 7.

    Lock Cottage, on the banks of the Thames next to the weir at Buscot, sleeps 2.
