The conservation warden leads several guided walks each year.
Family highlights
The grassy hillsides are a fantastic place to spot butterflies and birds, fly a kite or just run around in the fresh air!
Walking
We are next to the Ridgeway National Trail and Lambourn Valley Way. Many circular walks can be started here, taking in Uffington Castle and Wayland Smithy. Leaflets are available to buy locally.
It is a pleasant 4 mile walk to Ashdown Park from the Uffington White Horse over the downs and through woodland.

Kite or model flying
Blustery hilltop location is an ideal spot for flying kites. We do not allow kite boards or buggies as they can damage the delicate grassland flora and fauna.
